Yes it is - this product is a plant based product and is 100% organic.

How do I know I am getting Mastiha from Chios?

Mystika only imports Mastiha from our farmers on the Greek island in Chios. We do not mix it with Masiha from other places and only wash the mastiha with water and vinegar and no chemicals. In the past it has been reported that some others use chemicals to whiten the product. Also you know our product is fresher then most as it is a whitish ivory colour as opposed to yellow which can happen over time when exposed to sun and air. This is also one reason why we sell our product in boxes.
